“FLABBERGASTED is all I can say about the work Sapling did on my family tree. When I opened my report, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I expected they would be able to go back a few generations — Sapling went back 54. The document I received was 900 pages. I knew my father’s side of the family was English and learned that they were Irish, Welsh, Dutch, French, and Native American. It is fascinating to see all the people who came before and where they lived and think about how many of the places I have lived where we intersect. I am still sharing the report with my family, and every single time that I do, they get back to thank me for showing them who we really are. I encourage more people, especially those who are descendants of African Americans, to get more curious about their origins and discover their lineage.”
